Our cleaning and maintenance division are uniquely equipped to deal with any PV issue that you may be experiencing. Armed with state of the art cleaning brushes, pumps and chemical treatments, along with their own dedicated access lift we offer a first-class service that is competitively priced.
We operate and maintain many hundreds of sites across the UK and Europe and our customers come to us year after year – with a large proportion of our new sites coming from recommendations rather than advertising.
We take pride in our work and take all steps necessary to ensure that you get the most you possibly can from your PV installation.
Generally that will simply mean keeping it clean and undertaking electrical testing once a year, although it may involve all sorts of other functions, ranging from lichen removal, to inverter replacement to detailed monitoring and fault-finding.
In this case, our electrical testing identified that one inverter had failed and did indeed need to be replaced. This is surprisingly common given the number of inverters being installed, so it is absolutely essential that it is noticed while the equipment is still under warranty. Otherwise the cost of a new unit will run into the thousands.
The longer it takes to identify faults like this, the less electricity (and therefore income) your system will deliver and – ultimately – the more likely it is that you will find it has stopped working only once the warranty has expired.
